Coconut Grove residents get ready for an influx of belly dancing, live Greek music, flowing rivers of ouzo, and fresh seafood.
Acropolis Greek restaurant, the Florida-based small chain of Greek tavernas is planning on opening in Coconut Grove sometime soon.

The restaurant is located on Main Highway, between GreenStreet Cafe and the Coconut Grove Playhouse, adjacent to the soon-to-open Hoops.

The Greek restaurant, which has locations in New Tampa, Ybor City, Riverview, and St. Petersburg, is bringing authentic Greek cuisine, Greek wines, and an extensive bar menu to the Grove.General manager Deano Kastis is looking forward to bringing his authentic Greek food to Florida’s east coast. “We’re hoping this becomes your second home,” Kastis told Short Order.

Acropolis will be open for lunch and dinner. We’re looking forward to the belly dancing!
