The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s The Barnacle Historic State Park, in conjunction with The Barnacle Society, presents The Barnacle Under Moonlight Concert Series. Join us on Friday December 14 at 7 pm at the Barnacle Coconut Grove, as Sweet Wednesday takes the outdoor stage.
Singer/songwriters Dave Falk and Lisa Housman write and perform in the roots rock, folk, alt country genres, and combine elements of comedy, tragedy, and haunting beauty in their writing. Multi-instrumentalist Dave Falk plays the guitar, mandolin, harmonica, banjo, and violin, while Lisa plays guitar. Both sing, with harmonies laced throughout.
The Barnacle coconut grove gate opens at 6 pm. Music plays from 7-9 pm. Admission is $7 for ages 10 and up and $3 for ages 6-9. Children under age 6 are free. Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs are welcome. No pets, please, during evening events. Service animals are welcome in all areas at any event. Accessible facilities are available.
Concerts are sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of The Barnacle Historic State Park. The Barnacle Coconut Grove, located at 3485 Main Hwy in Coconut Grove, is a Florida State Park administered by the Department of Environmental Protection.
