We are almost there, Friday, November 16, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. is the Opening Reception for the Mad Hatter Arts Festival
The Barnacle Society invites you to its second annual champagne Mad Hatter Tea Party to celebrate the opening of the Mad Hatter Arts Festival. The party will be held on Friday, November 16 from 6 to 9 pm on the front lawn of The Barnacle located at 3485 Main Highway, Coconut Grove.
It’s the Mad Hatter — so don’t expect to find your Grandma’s Tea Party! Guests are invited to bring their own teacup and follow the white rabbit through the looking glass and down the rabbit hole to this quirky cocktail party. On the lawn overlooking beautiful Biscayne Bay, guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, along with champagne, wine and beer. Live music will be performed Janna Pelle. Wonderland-themed hats and costumes are encouraged, and who knows, guests may just run into the smoking caterpillar.
Reservations are required with a fee of $25 per person for members of The Barnacle Society; $35 per person for non-members; and $40 for all after the Rsvp deadline of November 9. Don’t be late! To make reservations and payment for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and even become a member of The Barnacle Society to take advantage of the member rates, visit the Society’s web site at www.thebarnacle.org
Proceeds from the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will be used for the preservation and care of The Barnacle.
