Repost from WSVN- COCONUT GROVE, Fla. (WSVN) — Coconut Grove brought the fall season to South Florida this weekend by hosting a pumpkin patch festival.
The Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival is taking place Saturday and Sunday at Peacock Park, located in the 2800 block of McFarlane Road, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Kids can dress their own scarecrow, enjoy carnival rides and, of course, partake of the pumpkin food court feast. “This is where families can come and experience the season,” said event spokesperson Vanessa Goodis. “Even though if it’s a little warm, we still get to have a great time — pick out a perfect pumpkin, decorate it, go through a hay maze. It’s really a one-of-a-kind thing in South Florida.”
There’s also something for the adults, too: a pumpkin beer garden.
