A Guided Walking Tour of The Kampong historic estate and botanical garden fits the bill! Two-hour guided tours are offered at 10:30AM on Wednesdays and Saturdays in December, with additional tours available on Thursday, December 27 and Friday, December 28.
Pass through The Kampong’s red gate and the majestic Banyan trees at Douglas Road to learn about our place in Coconut Grove history, revel in our superb plant and tree collection, and peek into David Fairchild’s private office and home.

Guided Tours begin at 10:30AM on: Sat Dec 1, Wed Dec 5, Sat Dec 8, Wed Dec 12, Sat Dec 15, Wed Dec 19, Wed Dec 26, Thurs Dec 27, Fri Dec 28 , and Sat Dec 29. Reservations are required – please go to kampong.ntbg.org to reserve your spot or call for more details (limited spaces available). Gates and parking access open at 10:00AM, and tours begin at 10:30AM. Tour fee is $20 for adults, $15 for ages 62 and over and students with ID, $10 for children 4-12 years, and free for children 3 and under (accompanied by adult).
